To
provide new construction and regular maintenance
of tarred access roads with good drainage throughout
the state by assuming the responsibility for
all roads within Lagos State irrespective of
being Federal or Local Government roads.
To
make efficient telecommunication services available
and affordable to the residents of the State including
investors and industries through the establishment
of a private Telecommunication Holding Company to
be known as LAGTEL.
To
provide uninterrupted power supply throughout
the State giving the necessary assistance to NEPA
through Private Sector Participation initiative,
and injection of additional energy to the consuming
populace of the State in two phases.
Consultacy Services rendered the ministry till
date include:
- The
design appraisal of Alhaja Kudirat Abiola Cenotaph
- Supervision
of the rehabilitation of High Courts and Magistrate
Courts in Ikeja and Igbosere sites
- Supervision
of the completion of 3 Nos office blocks at
Alausa Secretariat
- Conceptual
design and installation of Secretariat's pathfinder
to assist visitors in locating different Ministries.
- The
design and supervision of the driver's pavilion
for public service office, which was recently
commissioned by the Head of Service
- Preparation
of a schedule of dilapidation for the Fire Staion
Head quarter at Alausa.
- Design
and supervision of the renovation of Lagos Island
Maternity and other General Hospital projects
in the state.
- Design
of extension works to the Lagos State House
of Assembly.
- Supervision
of the completion of the Secretariat's Auditorium.
- Design
and supervision of the construction of the Guest
House/state Quarters at Abuja FCT.
- Design
and supervision of the renovation works at the
NYSC camp at Igando.
- Conversion
of a section of National Assembly building in
Lagos to 12Nos state -of- the- art commercial
court rooms; and
- The
development and furnishing of the building for
the State Independent Electoral Commission(SIEC)
